Flight Instructor Refresher Seminars

Next FI Seminar to be held Andrewsfield Aviation, May 20/21 2024
 

The course content covers all of the mandatory elements required for the revalidation/renewal of the FI(A) certificate, with a strong emphasis on safety, but also aims to take a fresh approach to the world of flight instruction by;

Accidents during flight
  • Generating discussion on the current effectiveness of training when reviewing safety trends

  • Challenge  traditional philosophy to training where the evidence suggests we need to improve

why is resilience important?
  • Endeavour to progress thinking and knowledge beyond the traditional topics

  • Discuss the difference between "teaching" and "learning", have we got the balance right?
